Maizey Plastics exhibited a range of flatbed display boards that include the KAPAplast, KAPAtex, FOAM-X, SMART-X and Katz display board at Sign Africa Cape Town expo (2-3 September 2015).
The KAPAplast combines bright white plastic coated cover layers with a polyurethane foam core. The surface provides excellent printing results, perfect ink adhesion as well as an ideal surface tension. Due to the flatness of KAPAplast, high printing speeds can be achieved.
KAPAtex is a lightweight foam board with high quality surfaces in ‘canvas-look’. The board perfectly combines advantages of a sandwich material: light weight, dimensional stability and handling, with the look and feel of a canvas structure. The textured surface of KAPAtex includes a primer finish and is therefore an ideal substrate to achieve fine print images.
FOAM-X is a lightweight foam board with a polyurethane foam core and coated multi-layered paper liners. FOAM-X is suitable for indoor applications. The material provides an ideal weight-stability-ratio. Additionally, FOAM-X can be processed very easily with manual tools.
SMART-X is the distinctive and unique lightweight foam board for sophisticated applications in the field of visual communication. It is a lightweight, all-plastic sheet material with surfaces of UV and weather resistant solid polystyrene (HIPS) and a core of expanded polystyrene that is completely moisture-resistant. These characteristics make SMART-X the world’s only lightweight foam board for external applications without any significant change in colour for a period of up to two years.
The Katz display board is a two-side laminated display board for direct flatbed printed signage, exhibition and POS display solutions. It is an eco-friendly alternative to mineral oil-based POS, materials such as foam oars and PVC. This display board is dimensionally stable, rigid and ideal for hanging.
