The new and improved IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast (GVC929BFD) replaces Mactac’s long-time customer favourite IMAGin B-free GRUV (GV929BFD). It features an upgraded cast face stock and adhesive platform delivering the conformability and repositionability installers need for faster, more confident full or partial vehicle, fleet and marine wrapping applications.
‘IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast was developed with today’s graphics installers in mind,’ said Jason Yard, marketing director, Mactac Distributor Products. ‘The advanced features and characteristics offered by this cast film, such as its superior repositionability, give installers the confidence to wrap vehicles and other contoured surfaces faster than traditional calendered film options.’
IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast features Mactac’s proprietary omni-directional air-egress invisible adhesive pattern, which eliminates visible texture in the facestock for easier installation.
The face stock is a 2.0-mil high-gloss, soft white polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film that offers exceptional colour reproduction. It is coated with an opaque grey acrylic permanent adhesive that bonds strongly – yet remains repositionable and is protected by a 98% polycoated layflat liner for superior printability.
While ideal for vehicle, fleet and marine applications, IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast offers the perfect solution for numerous long-term or conformable applications, such as:

IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast is compatible with all digital ink types and is solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-printable.
Mactac recommends pairing IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast with its PERMACOLOR RAYZor matte or gloss overlaminate. When paired with an overlaminate, IMAGin B-free GRUV Cast offers outdoor durability of up to seven years. Unprinted durability is nine years.
