Developed with Mactac’s innovative state-of-the-art adhesive technology, Mactac Industrial Tapes has announced MacBond HSA440 acrylic tapes, which are environmentally and economically friendly.
They are also highly versatile – meeting a wide range of requirements in applications such as:

– Membrane switches.
– Medical device assembly.
– Automotive.

The tapes offer exceptional performance on medium to high surface energy materials. Additionally, the tapes:
– Maintain adhesion after exposure to heat and humidity.
– Are solvent and UV-resistant.
– Are non-whitening and low-odour.
– Are easy to handle and die-cut.
– Ensure minimal adhesive ooze.
The tapes are available as a double-coated tape or transfer adhesive, in various coat weights. The tapes feature either a moisture stable PCK liner, known to resist welting, and provide dimensional stability or a PET liner, which delivers an ultra-smooth adhesive appearance for laminating or electronic application. Dual liner versions are also available.
The tapes are offered in 137.1cm (54 inch) and 152.4cm (60 inch) rolls and have a two-year shelf life. MacBond HSA440 meets the following criteria: REACH and RoHS regulations, Consumer Product Safety Act of 2008, FDA 21 CFR175.125 (a)/(b), Prop 65 and Toxics in Packaging (formerly CONEG). MacBond HSA440 Transfer adhesives are UL969 and CSA 22.2 No.15 recognised for indoor and outdoor applications.
