The Paperplot, a division of Kolok, presented the Sihl Sublimation range at the Nelspruit Sign Africa Expo (29 June 2016). The sublimation premium range included: Sihl 3272 premium range, Sihl 3792 universal range and Sihl 3791 superdry range.
The Sihl 3272 105gsm premium range is equipped with a coating that is optimised for the dye-sublimation process with a built-in barrier layer and remains flat during the printing process. The design can be applied to fabrics made of 100% polyester by means of a hot calendar, e.g. to produce customised sports jerseys and flags.
The Sihl 3792 90gsm universal range is a specially coated sublimation paper for digital sublimation transfer. It is an all-rounder with excellent drying times and extremely high colour transfer rates. It is easy to handle and is suitable for interior design, advertising aids, soft signage, hard substrates, etc.
The Sihl 95gsm 3791 superdry range is the latest generation of instant dry sublimation papers, designed for the industrial high speed printers from Reggiani, MS-Italy Durst or Mimaki TS500. It is ideal for aqueous sublimation inks with a high percent of Glycol (i.e. Ricoh and Kyocera print heads), gives a high colour transfer and has excellent flatness.
