JG Electronics hosted an open house on the 20th and 21st of November to display DTF Stations’ Prestige range, including their newest direct-to-film (DTF) offering, the Prestige L2 DTF Printer with A2 size. The printing demonstrations were conducted by Tony Lee, the American based designer of the L2, R2 and A4 Prestige DTF Printer models.
The Prestige L2 is the latest offering from DTF Station’s DTF printer line. The compact, yet powerful, roll printer is designed for mid-sized businesses and those looking to upgrade from smaller pipelines. Its intuitive design allows for an easy set up.
It features a white ink circulating system, head strike sensor, auto-cleaning system, auto-wet capping station system, auto ink alarming system, a printing width of 45cm, a 6 Pass 5.5sqm/hour or 8 Pass 4.5sqm/hour printing speed and a manual powder recycle every two to three hours while printing. The unit is also offered with DigiRIP RIP Software.
Lee discussed the Prestige range and what makes it unique in the DTF market, stating: ‘A lot of companies are simply importers. They don’t get involved with the development or the design of the product. They just get a product that is ready and they expect customers to learn how to do it. But I wanted to bring (products to the market) that are more reliable or something that is more customised.’
‘We have different sizes available. In some ways, that’s very unique. My mission when I started this was to be the reliable company that could go long-term with the customer. But I thought about it, and if the customer cannot afford the A1, then there’s no way that I could create the relationship in the first place. So I wanted to bring in a very budget-friendly model. It is also unique in that you’re not going to see this many pieces of equipment, not just the printer alone, but different ovens, different presses and so on. We’re trying to be a one stop solution in this space,’ concluded Lee.
Also showcased at the open house was the Prestige A4 DTF Printer, R2 DTF Printer, Miro 13 Powder Shaker, Seismo M16 Powder Shaker/Dryer and the Large Purifier.
