INX Showcasing Curable Inks

Like all of INX’s TRIANGLE brand alternative inks, HFB runs cleaner and provides adhesion and flexibility on a vast range of graphic medias. Optimised for curing both UV and LED on HP FB printers, HFB delivers ideal performance and is intended for jetting with high consistency on HP Scitex FB500, FB700, and FB900 printers.

Evan Lyons, INX Regional Sales Manager – West U.S. said HFB inks are in great demand since they cure quickly and offer high chemical resistance. An extensive colour gamut with consistent repeatability is another benefit. Since HFB has higher gloss content, it provides more colour ‘POP’ than more matte OEM. It’s also why INX offers more canned profiles for various HP printer DPI settings internal to the printer, thus making the profiles popular for flexible and rigid substrate end users to print on.

‘We understand that achieving high-density reds, such as the true Coca-Cola red, time after time is important to earn repeat corporate business. You can do this using HFB without sacrificing quality,’ he remarked, indicating that four and six-color solutions with ink-making customer colour profiles are part of the conversion process. Customers are pleased with the ink jetting and smoothness for tight detail.’

HFB is formulated to achieve GRACoL standards and reach G7 targets, so there is a visual difference when compared to HP’s 250 OEM ink in side-by-side comparisons. HFB’s flexibility helps to reduce chipping and peeling; chipping is lessened when used on rigid coroplast, DiBond and Sintra for outdoor signage and is trimmed to size with industrial cutters. INX will demonstrate their alternative inks at the 2020 FASTSIGNS International Convention, taking place 16-17 January.
