Hybrid prints combine a screen print underbase with an inkjet-type print. The results are clear and crisp digitally printed images on garments.
The new HDB Digital System is a complete screen print ink system designed to be used with direct-to-garment (DTG) digital inks, created specifically to optimise hybrid digital print applications. The HDB System allows digital garment ink to be printed faster, and with sharper resolution, better colour and wash fastness.
Hybrid direct-to-garment printers offer garment decorators the ability to fulfil small to medium multi-colour print jobs quickly and more economically. Hybrid prints can be printed up to four times faster than traditional DTG printing and the HDB inks typically cost a quarter of digital white underbase inks.
The HDB Digital System is an easy-to-use three component/step system comprised of the following:
– HDB primer coat for either cotton or hard to print synthetics.
– HDB Synthesis Receiver Base (part A and B).
– HDB Optimum Clear.
With the HDB Digital System, digital ink is printed wet-on-wet on the HDB underbase, eliminating the need to flash. The system enables digital printing on light and dark garments and provides a vibrant, smooth and durable finish. The HDB low-bleed system is designed to block bleed for digital printing on polyester, synthetic and performance fabrics.
