Industrial Inkjet Specialists (IIJ) were present at the recent Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo (12-14 September, Gallagher Convention Centre). Samples were showcased from the following Durst innovations:
The Delta WT 250, which represents a new generation of printers incorporating Durst Water Technology. The system prints from flexo quality up to superb litho quality with odourless ink. Durst Water Technology is highly suited for a range of corrugated packaging and displays applications.
The Durst Tau 330 RSC, a UV inkjet label and package printing press featuring 330mm (13 inch) print width combined with leading edge print speed of up to 78 linear metres/min (255 feet/min) at a resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi.
Also showcased were samples of IIJ’s Haptic Print software that is higher than braille specification.
