IMDM has entered into an agreement with Intamarket to distribute specific Avery Dennison and 3M products in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The company has also undergone a management and staff restructuring and is planning many product launches for the coming year.
Ziyaad Moola was appointed as the General Manager for IMDM in October last year. He speaks about the Intamarket/IMDM partnership, ‘IMDM has a national footprint so we can give more exposure to Avery Dennison and 3M products, especially in Durban, where we aim to grow these brands.’
IMDM has also launched its 3-5 year Scorpio brand. This product is well-priced and has excellent conformity.
‘We’ve revolutionised our business with new structures and procedures and have improved the quality of all our media tremendously. Under the new management and because of our continuous research and development, we’re growing the business and product offerings. We’re the only company in South Africa offering a six month warrantee on all hardware, such as POS materials, banners etc. We’ve also developed our businesses in Cape Town and Johannesburg to have increased support to provide excellent service to our customers. Our motto is to drive service before sales,’ said Moola.
IMDM Director, Bilall Bam said, ‘We’ve spearheaded the company to get the best products out into the market place and we aim to become a one-stop shop for our customers.’
Iqbal Bam, CEO, IMDM, said, ‘We’ve got a stronger team of people and different brands, which allows us to have a bigger footprint in the market and to become bigger players in the industry. We want to add more value and innovation to customers, that’s why we’re constantly sourcing new technologies. We’re excited about the new direction of the business.’
IMDM also has exciting product launches planned, some of which it will showcase at the Sign Africa Expo in Johannesburg, taking place from 21-23 August 2013 at the Sandton Convention Centre. It will also host open days at its facilities nationally – dates will be announced shortly.
