HP will demonstrate its creativity-enhancing print technologies at Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East, taking place from 20th-22nd January 2013 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
The company will display a large-format digital printing solutions line-up spanning its Scitex and Designjet portfolios and reflecting the continued importance of innovative technologies using aqueous, UV and latex inks.
Highlighting the significance of HP Latex Ink Technologies and the business-enhancing opportunities it offers users, the company will exhibit examples of the vibrant applications achievable and run live product demonstrations on key HP Latex devices. Printers using HP Latex Inks will be in operation on the stand, including the HP Designjet L26500 Printer, the award-winning HP Designjet L28500 Printer (1) and the HP Scitex LX850 Industrial Printer.
Wider applications versatility
Each runs water-based HP Latex Inks that produce odourless (2) prints, enabling users to offer an extended range of creative indoor and outdoor applications. The printers can handle a variety of substrates, including vinyls, fabrics, papers, films and low-cost uncoated options, while helping to meet the needs of environmentally-conscious customers. These applications span a multitude of job types, including POS/POP graphics and posters, light boxes, soft signage, wall coverings, vehicle graphics and event banners.
Also on show in Dubai will be the robust HP Scitex FB700 Industrial Printer, which can increase application versatility by printing on a wide range of rigid and flexible media (3) – including corrugated plastic – with good ink adhesion. A 2.5m-wide printer capable of speeds up to 80sqm/hr, the HP Scitex FB700 enables PSPs to say ‘yes’ to just about any request and delivers output-enriching matte/gloss finishes, as well as optional white ink (4).
In addition, visitors will see live demonstrations of the HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer, which uses HP Vivid Photo Inks to deliver high-quality output. Designed for photo labs, digital print shops, advertising agencies, design firms and commercial printers, the user-friendly HP Designjet Z6200 Photo Printer series provides photo-quality prints at 2400dpi and the versatility for indoor applications from line drawings to photographic output to signage.
Application presentations – HP Latex Technologies
Throughout Sign and Graphic Imaging, HP will be delivering application presentations which will take a closer look at the qualities of HP Latex Technologies compared to solvent alternatives. These will enable visitors to learn tips and tricks on various outdoor, interior decoration and POS applications using HP Latex Technologies and will take place daily on the HP stand as well as at the showcase theatre.
‘The broad range of graphic arts projects achievable with the range of HP large-format printers on show at SGI Middle East will underscore our goal to help customers drive profitable growth by extending their service offering; improving their sustainability, and increasing productivity,’ said Yeliz Alaman, market development manager, Sign and Display, MEMA, Graphics Solutions Business, HP.
