D.Fenstec has chosen Flexa for cutting its new medical devices. The collaboration with Flexa has enabled D.Fenstec to find a tailor-made solution for their Italian-made production needs. D.Fenstec, a company from Vicenza, has been active since 2014 on both national and international levels in the health and healthcare sectors.
The company is committed to continuously improving raw materials, product design, and manufacturing to guarantee pain relief without the release of drugs or heat.
‘The technology of D.Fenstec against pain without side effects’. This is the motto of the new FIT Therapy products — medical devices designed to relieve pain directly at the affected area, aiding recovery processes for musculoskeletal pain, both chronic and acute, as well as pain related to the menstrual cycle.
‘We needed a cutting and rewinding solution for our new kinesiology tapes, starting from a 60cm diameter roll to produce smaller rolls. This partnership represents one of the many improvements we are continually implementing to address every challenge with quality and efficiency,’ explained Gaetano Bertinato, founder of the company.
Flexa created the Miura 110 R DFE automatic cutter, a compact machine equipped with a dual shaft rewinding system, facilitating precise and efficient cutting. The cutter is equipped with slimline lengthwise rotary crush cutters and can simultaneously cut tapes of various widths.
The working parameters are easily adjustable by the operator via intuitive software. Miura 110 R DFE also allows longitudinal and transverse cutting of flexible materials from roll to sheets.
