This week, the GSW Mimaki Africa Road Show is bringing affordable, cutting-edge technology to Africa, with stops in Zambia, Mauritius, Botswana and Cape Town.
New products are being showcased by GSW in various different countries and have been very well received, with numerous sales and installations.
This year, Mimaki launched a desktop UV printer: UJF-3042HG with a 15cm higher head clearance, which has sold very well in South Africa and Africa. Popular for printing onto promotional items, and small rigid items, the UJF-3042HG A3 desktop UV LED printer is used to print direct onto pens, mobile phone covers, laptops, promotional items, USB sticks, ID cards, badges and more.
As a grand-format solution for billboard printing, the new Mimaki SWJ-320 3.2m high-speed eco-solvent printer has been sold to four companies so far in the past month. Launched this year, the SWJ-320 is the affordable solution from Mimaki for grand format printing up to 3.2m wide, printing at high speeds up to 85sqm/hr.
For T-shirt branding, the Polyprint TexjetPLUS Direct-To-Garment T-shirt printer and A3 heat press is the perfect combination to enter into the textile printing market. The TexjetPLUS T-shirt printer has white ink, which makes printing onto dark T-shirts possible. Bright, beautiful and vivid prints are made possible with the easy-to-use TexjetPLUS T-shirt printer.
Mimaki’s range of quality vinyl cutters is renowned for speed and cutting capabilities. Used together with Chemica heat transfer media and a heat press, they enable the creation and customisation of T-shirts and sport garment branding.
