Graphix Supply World hosted two motivational talks with adventurer Miles Hilton-Barber in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Hilton-Barber has been blind since his twenties, but has not let that stop him from challenging barriers. He uses his experiences as an international adventurer to motivate and inspire others to achieve their potential.
He encouraged the audience to make their dreams happen, emphasising that the right attitude is the key to success and that if he, as a blind man, could climb Mount Kilimanjaro, succeed on expeditions to deserts, mountains and the polar regions and co-pilot aircraft, then others should not let their fears be obstacles to achieving their goals. ‘There are sighted people in the world who are blind to their abilities, I hope to give them vision. The only limits in life are those we accept ourselves,’ said Hilton-Barber
