Graphix Supply World (GSW) will showcase the Mimaki CJV150-160 and the Mimaki TX300P-1800 eight-colour inkjet printer at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo, taking place from 7-9 September in Johannesburg at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

The Mimaki CJV150-160 is an integrated printer/cutter that provides high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink types, including new Silver, Orange and Light Black, in a cost effective package for sign makers, display graphics professionals and print shops.

It features versatile print and cut functions:

  • The continuous register mark detection function enables the continuous cutting of a whole roll of media while simultaneously taking up unrolled media.
  • The over-cut and corner-cut functions ensure clearly cut edges with no residues.
  • The segment correction function facilitates precision cutting over longer-length prints.
  • The cut-and-print function averts printing problems by cutting the media prior to printing.

The Mimaki TX300P-1800 eight-colour inkjet printer features a new printhead that ejects ink droplets at high speed to ensure accurate ink droplet placement with a high head gap. This makes the printer ideal for printing high quality images on all types of fabrics, including thicker and textured materials.

Darryl Braithwaite, Sales Director at Graphix Supply World said, ‘It is essential to exhibit at the FESPA Africa and Sign Africa expo because we are able to showcase and introduce all of our equipment and consumables to our existing clients, as well as new clients. We're able to introduce our suppliers to our clients and allow for interaction. The event is also a great opportunity for new products to be introduced to everyone in the market in a short space of time and helps us identify where the market is going, and what trends the market will be following.'
