The new on Board LED Technology, launched at FESPA Africa, has no separate driver, requiring a simply connection of the LED board to mains voltage to function properly.
This on Board technology allows for dimming with leading or trailing edge, (phase firing) dimmers, and can also withstanding 380V. It is also thermally self regulating, if the PCB gets above a certain temperature, then the current regulator decreases the outward current and in so doing lowers the wattage.
