Fujifilm Showcasing Acuity LED 1600 II At Sign Africa Zambia Expo

The new Acuity LED 1600 II large format LED UV inkjet printer features better productivity and versatility than its predecessor. Fujifilm will exhibit the roll-to-roll and rigid substrate capabilities of the printer at the Sign Africa Zambia Expo, taking place from 8-9 June at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.

The printer features a new fast printing mode of 33sqm/hr, which is more than 50% faster than the previous model. This addresses customer demands for quicker job turnarounds and lower output cost. The machine, which has a maximum print width of 1610mm, and a 1200dpi maximum resolution, also offers simultaneous two-layer printing (white plus clear) and three-layer printing (colour plus white and clear) when combined with Caldera or ColorGate RIP software.

Fujifilm is also holding a Design Challenge where over R60,000 worth of Fujifilm cameras can be won. Entrants are challenged to submit a design for a number of different categories (which include the decoration of a school, hospital, office or retail space), using the Acuity LED 1600 II’s unique features creatively.

Closing date is 4 August 2017.

Winners will be announced at the upcoming FESPA Africa expo.

Upcoming expo’s include:

Johannesburg: 13-15 September, Gallagher Convention Centre.
