Q-Photo, a Pretoria-based business with around three decades in operation, recently installed a Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 II. Given the features and functionalities the machine offers, the business expects to grow even further.
This creative and versatile machine features a fast printing mode of 33sqm/hr. This addresses customer demands for quicker job turnarounds and lower output cost. The machine, which has a maximum print width of 1610mm, and a 1200dpi maximum resolution, and also offers multiple layer printing in one pass.
Q-Photo managing director Liezel Geyser-Hahn explained that they purchased the machine to open new revenue streams and thereby adding more value for their clients. ‘The machine has opened up new markets for us with our extensive home décor range as well as for our professional photographers. The service from Fujifilm has been superb with the installation, as well as the continuous training and assistance with the machine.’
