Showing their continued confidence in the calibre and value of the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo, Avery Dennison and Roland have again signed up as Platinum sponsors of the Johannesburg expo and the regional expos in 2015.

‘We really value the partnership with Avery Dennison and Roland that dates back to our first Sign Africa expo in 2005. Their participation makes it possible for us to deliver compelling content to visitors, including the ever-popular Roland/Avery Dennison Speedwrap, where contestants show off their skills by racing against the clock to wrap a vehicle door to the best standards. Audience members are also encouraged to try their hand at vehicle wrapping,’ said Dyelan Copeland organiser of FESPA Africa and Sign Africa.

The 2014 Speedwrap champion Vaughn Repsold from Kacoon Vehicle Branding won a trip to represent South Africa and compete for the title of World Wrap Master Champion at FESPA 2015 in Cologne, 18-22 May 2015.

‘We are working on an exciting metamorphosis of the Speedwrap. We want to create excitement and vibe while attracting youngsters to our colourful industry. We look forward to using the platform provided by Sign Africa and FESPA Africa to show Africa and the world what the possibilities are, as well as building relationships based on honesty and integrity,’ said Bob Glenister, CEO Telpro Management, Roland distributor in South Africa.

‘As a company that takes pride in being innovative and inspiring graphic manufacturers in the market, Avery Dennison South Africa’s long standing association with the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo is testament to the variety of lucrative prospects and relationships that stem from having a presence at these shows. As a Fortune 500 global company and leaders in the local market, we find these shows to be the ideal platform for us to establish and grow awareness around the brand and stable, which is Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions. Enticing international visitors, including those from Sub–Saharan Africa, will provide an extended global opportunity for businesses to develop and promulgate new ventures through reputable distributors, convertors and end users. FESPA Africa is the platform for like-minded individuals, groups and companies to enhance their knowledge on industry developments and offerings in the signage industry for 2015, said Lindy van Moerkerken, Business Manager Graphics Solutions, Avery Dennison.
