2244

Falcon will introduce the Mitsubishi Cast Acrylic, Gravograph Engraving material and the Hexis new Supercast range at the Sign Africa Durban Expo, taking place from 26-27 August 2014 at the Durban ICC.

Mitsubishi Rayon Shinkolite Cast Acrylic:

Mitsubishi Rayon Company (MRC) is the world’s largest supplier of MMA, the essential building block for all acrylics. This cast acrylic has excellent characteristics such as: world’s thinnest cast acrylic sheet available from 1.5mm, world’s lowest cast acrylic sheet tolerances of only 0.1mm, clarity transparency, beautiful colour, it is light in weight, is durable even in harsh weather, is impact resistant and has good formability. Mitsubishi Rayon Company achieves these feats due to their unique cast process, which is proprietary technology to MRC.

Applications include: lighting fixtures, building materials, furniture, industrial materials, signboards, point of purchase/point of sale and more. Available within the Falcon network at any of our 12 branches nationally.

Hexis Supercast Range:

HX 20 000 Cast Vinyl Film

This product has excellent long-term durability. It can be both very thin and still very versatile, allowing application over surfaces that are curved, have rivets, screw tops or complex surfaces. The film preserves its colour even under strong deformation. The film provides a flawless installation due to the way the adhesive is applied, which allows air bubbles to be removed quickly and easily. It is recommended for long-term outdoor applications including outdoor signs, equipment and vehicles.

HX 30 000

The new HX30000 cast vinyls with surface effect finishes (carbon, alligator, leather in different colours) consists of multilayered cast vinyl of 70 to 280 µm (depending on type) film and a HEX’PRESS technology liner. Due to the high technical performance and conformability, the product may be used on undulated or textured surfaces (weldings and rivets). It is designed for vehicle wraps

HX190WG2

The European Digital Press Award-winning HX190WG2 is a 50 micro metre layered cast vinyl film that, because of its formulation, can tolerate the imperfections of the different print systems. Its layered structure will ensure that ink will not affect adhesive and handling properties of the film, and as a consequence it is compatible with a wide range of printers, including those using hard solvent inkjet systems. The product is suitable for complex curved substrates (vehicles, rivets etc.) and adheres to steel, aluminium, PVC and melamine.

Hexis PC30 Gloss and Matt Supercast Overlaminate:

The PC30 cast laminate is the ideal match for full vehicle wraps with HX100WG2 or V100WG2 cast digital printing vinyl. The product is specially designed for full vehicle wraps and complex curved surfaces. The resulting compound of 80µm is easier to apply and to remove than the printed vinyl on its own. The combination of highly conformable cast vinyl films and HEX’PRESS adhesive technology guarantees high quality results in less time.

Gravograph Engraving material:

Gravograph’s engraving materials, for both indoor and outdoor use, come delivered either in full sheets or pre-cut to meet your specifications. The material range includes over 900 references in stock, specially developed for engraving and cutting, which can be made available to the market. Whether ‘Surface’ or ‘Reverse’ engraving, laser marking or cutter engraving, all the ranges of plastic, metal or stratified materials are available in a spectrum of colours, thicknesses and various finishes. Many materials are compatible with digital printing.
