The Uzwelo Bags initiative, spearheaded by Expand a Sign, sees thousands of metres of their waste textile fabric donated to teams of sewers from underprivileged backgrounds.
A portion of proceeds raised by sales from the Uzwelo Bags initiative, which amounted close to R70,000, was donated to the Bateleurs. Founded in 1998, The Bateleurs is a South African non-profit company with over 200 volunteer pilots and aircraft.
‘We are proud to support The Bateleurs and share their dedication and commitment to protecting our environment,’ said Expand a Sign marketing manager Kirsty Fonzari.
