Exion Corporation, in partnership with OTIS SA, has supplied RGB LED lights to Standard Bank’s HQ in the Johannesburg CBD.
Such technology indicates the operating status of the building’s escalators. For example, the blue light indicates that the escalators are operating correctly, and the red light means that the escalators are not working properly or are out of order.
Technology of this nature will not just make a business stand out but increase its general efficiency, ensuring that any maintenance is carried out in a timely manner. Standard Bank HQ’s nine story west building was renovated and reopened on 20 January.
There are currently creative plans and brainstorming sessions taking place to develop an innovative see-through LED display film to adopt into the glass part of the building to promote eye-catching marketing campaigns.
