InkTec designs and manufactures the JETRIX LXi series of LED UV flatbed printers with optional roll-to-roll feature, using Konica Minolta print heads. JETRIX printers and media are designed for indoor and outdoor printing. EXION Corporation and InkTec will exhibit these products at the upcoming Sign Africa Expo and FESPA Africa Expo, taking place from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.
The i-series printer heads can handle rigid media up to 3.2 x 2.03m and up to 100mm thick to deliver the perfect combination of superb printing quality and high productivity. The 3.2m LXi8 flatbed boasts a top print speed of 181sqm/hr in high-speed mode and can print at resolutions of up to 1080 x 720dpi, in Fine Art mode, significantly speeding up the time it takes to print an image without compromising on the quality of the finished product.
The JETRIX LXi series features the new LED curing system, which due to its lower energy consumption costs less to run and benefits from a longer lifetime. In addition, driven by InkTec’s specially formulated UV inks, the LXi series offers a wide colour gamut, high colour vibrancy and fast ink curing time, as well as perfect adhesion on most materials, which will extend your range of printing capabilities. These printers feature affordable maintenance and will help users maximise their profits in that they use inks which have no falsified colours and no frayed edges.
