Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design, staff friendliness and professionalism.

Exhibitors had positive feedback about the event:

Adrian Wolman from Sign-Tronic said, ‘The attendance was excellent, all the decision makers were there and it was a great opportunity for interaction. Sign-Tronic was proud to be able to show off cost saving technologies to the industry in our own neck of the woods.’

‘We were pleasantly surprised. We received a lot of interest in our offering, particularly the LG Hausys products,’ said RS Chari from Hitech Graphics.

‘It’s all about quality rather than quantity. There were serious buyers from the Western Cape, and even Botswana and Mozambique,’ said Graham Roy from Graficomp.

‘It is a good opportunity to see new and existing customers. We need to be here, it was a good show,’ said Tomo Hemmi of Fujifilm.

‘We met with existing clients and had a good show,’ said David McClenaghan of Vic Bay.

‘We got a lot of leads,’ said Stephen Colley of Trotec.

‘It was brilliant, with good quality visitors attending. We had a good response to our Contravision give-away,’ said Rakesh Rosen of Midcomp.

Vernon Mellors from Epson said, ‘We had a very good expo, with a lot of interest in start-up equipment and entrepreneurs buying kits.’

‘This show is number one! We received very good leads,’ said Jacob Machaba from Intamarket.

‘The quality of visitors was good and we got decent leads from visitors from Cape Town, and countries in Africa,’ said Steve Harcourt-Wood from Rexx Screen and Digital Supplies.

‘We are very happy, we had a busy expo. We met new customers that have shown interest in our GTX garment printer and also had someone fly in from Johannesburg to see the machine again. We see value in being at the expos,’ said Elke Brink of Colorscreen.
