EngravCut showcased its fibre laser cutting, fibre laser marking, CO2 laser cutting and engraving, and CNC router machines at the Graphics, Print and Sign Expo, which took place from 14-16 September at the Gallagher Convention Centre.
The XQL-1325C fibre laser cutter is ideal for those who don’t wish to outsource. It can cut mild and stainless steel, and has a 1.3 x 2.5m working area. This solution was designed with sheet metal fabricators/traders in mind.
The FL30-S fibre laser marker is fast, efficient and can mark on just about anything other than clear glass. With a preferred working area of 20 x 20cm, applications include car parts, circuit boards, tiles and anything that requires precision writing on small components.
The 1390M CCD CO2 laser cutting and engraving machine is ideal for organic materials such as leather, wood, fabrics, rubber and more. It features a working area of 2 x 3m.
The 2030VX CNC router features a vacuum table for suction with two 5.5kW vacuum pumps, and a 5.5kW air-cooled spindle for router bits. Materials include wood, plastic, aluminium and foamboard.
The event was sponsored by Platinum sponsors Roland DG South Africa and Stixo Signage Supplies.
