Elitron recently unveiled its complete range of cutting-edge software, advanced cutting technologies and workflow solutions, including both conveyor and flatbed digital cutting systems.
At the forefront was Elitron’s NEW KLICK VIEW prepress software, designed to automate the prepress process. The system accurately projects and places print files onto shoes, bags and other 3D objects, allowing users to preview customised and tailored products before saving the nesting and proceeding to print. The KLICK prepress software also demonstrated how to position printed designs directly onto leather and fabric with maximum precision and material efficiency, before moving seamlessly to printing.
Elitron also presented a full workflow, starting from prepress with KLICK VIEW, printing with Printa, and cutting with Booster, featuring the patented Seeker System that recognises printed images and automatically loads the corresponding print file.
The VISIO Series, the reliable and precise automatic nesting systems with intelligent software for maximum material efficiency, was a key highlight. This system showed how to manage leather hides using fully digital processes.
The solutions were exhibited at the 50th edition of Simac in September. Attendees could witness digital hide acquisition and state-of-the-art nesting, using integrated high-brightness LED lights for perfect visibility across the material from edge to edge. VISIO automatically recognises quality areas and digitally positions dies in record time, using an advanced algorithm to ensure minimal material waste.
