ColorLogic Releases Updated Colour Server

ZePrA is a full-featured colour server that optimises PDF printing data and image files such as PSD, TIFF and JPEG via DeviceLink profiles. ZePrA 12 is the latest version of ColorLogic’s Smart Color Server and introduces several new features and enhancements to improve colour management workflows for printers, print service providers, prepress professionals and designers.

Key new features in ZePrA 12 include expanded SmartLink support for more applications such as the CMY colour space used in digital presses to boost speed and save costs. The CIE conversion engine in ZePrA 12 has been significantly upgraded. It now considers various viewing conditions, such as those prevalent in the textile printing industry, across all ZePrA tools when converting colours.

Additional file formats have been added for exporting and sharing spot colour information via the Spot Color Report and the Manage Spot Color Libraries features. This update enables users to effortlessly generate reports and share libraries tailored to their specific applications.

ZePrA 12 also introduces new functions for displaying and processing spot colours. This is useful for preparing files for printing on digital presses such as inkjet or when spot colours need to be modified. Several new productivity features have been added that facilitate the import and export of configurations for sharing with other ZePrA systems designed to help users work more efficiently and streamline their colour management processes.
