ColorJet has launched the Vulcan Prime, a 1.6m UV roll-to-roll printer for multiple deco-sign applications. The printer provides ultra-high quality printing up to 2400dpi and its UV curing technology ensures immediate drying, saving up to 90% of the production time. For new generation signage, Vulcan Prime introduces CAMOUFLAGE printing technology.
Developed with the combination of ColorJet’s UV printing machines, industrial grade advanced printhead technology, UV curable inks, special ICC profiles and unique printer controller software, CAMOUFLAGE technology enables 3 layer, 4 layer and 5 layer back-to-back printing.
– 3 layer printing: it helps in achieving the same visual effect both on frontlit and backlit without any colour loss.
– 4 layer printing: dual colour/day night effect printing. Different versions of the same print printed on backlit media comes out under the influence of backlit LED light.
– 5 layer printing: dual creative printing. Different images printed on the same transparent media are visible differently from both sides (window graphics).
With Vulcan Prime, the interior décor market has a new player in town. Its 3D structure formation will help users in achieving raised embossed effects while printing on wallpapers, which will make them stand out. With this, home décor customers would not only see the design, but will also be able to feel it.
