CHILI® GraFx®, CHILI publish’s Creative Automation Platform, launched earlier this year, putting the power of Smart Templates in the hands of designers and developers who embrace technology to produce more and better graphics. It has since received a major update.
‘This momentous release is a critical milestone on our journey towards delivering multichannel graphics production at scale,’ said Chief Product Officer, Ward De Langhe.
During the CREATE Conference for the New Creative, the CHILI GraFx Creative Automation Platform was on full display, together with early user testimonials to its business impact by representatives of global brands and creative agencies like Sodexo, Colruyt, Spinakr and HH Global.
‘We want to partner with leaders who choose innovation, opportunity and change over status quo and cost-driven attitudes,’ said Kevin Goeminne, co-founder and CEO of CHILI publish. ‘With this release of CHILI GraFx, creative operations leaders can drive speed of execution and brand identity governance across all marketing and revenue channels like never before.’
In this major production release, CHILI publish included four applications of the CHILI GraFx platform: GraFx Publisher®; GraFx Studio®, which allows users to create smart templates for versatile output of digital, animated and print; GraFx Media®, which allows users to store and manage media assets for users without a dedicated DAM; and GraFx Fonts®, where users can centralise licenced fonts in a single location.
Other significant components of the release include the Smart Template Designer AI Assistant, GraFx Genie®, Actions and My Projects, aimed at driving productivity and brand enablement of non-designers.
The release drives incremental value across four major use cases for CHILI GraFx users:
1. Multichannel Creative Automation
CHILI GraFx supports creative automation across print, digital and animated graphics. All supported workflows rely on Smart Templates connected to shared resources for media and fonts, which can be in-platform, or external to the platform (e.g. Digital Asset Management Systems (DAM) and Product Information Management systems (PIM)).
In upcoming releases, these shared resources will include GraFx Data®, GraFx Stylekits®, and GraFx Insights®, to further accelerate data-driven creative automation and brand governance at scale.
2. Smart Creative Automation
GraFx Smart Templates allow designers to produce multichannel graphics based on a limited set of core creative resources. This removes the tedious task of manually versioning out all the variants needed to deploy multichannel promotional campaigns across online and offline marketing channels.
With the help of the company’s proprietary AI assistant, GraFx Genie® and Actions, Smart Template Designers can drastically reduce new template creation time. As a result, average time to market of new marketing activities can be reduced by up to 80 percent, allowing brands to dramatically increase market activity and reallocate precious design hours to more impactful design work.
To boost both the reach and the usage of branded assets, My Projects allows central brand teams and (in-house) agencies to expose non-designers to Smart Templates and produce the brand assets they need to keep moving forward in their day-to-day business process.
3. Lights-Out Creative Automation
The CHILI GraFx platform can be operated as a turn-key solution, or integrated as part of a headless machine-to-machine production cycle, with upstream and downstream integrations through the API that can ingest core design assets and deliver endless output versions based on preset requirements.
The company’s API is fully exposed and documented, and comes with an SDK. Developers can configure the end-to-end creative automation process without constraints and work in real-time, providing down-to-the-minute details.
4. Connected Creative Automation
Advanced Marketing Operations can’t scale in a vacuum. That’s why CHILI GraFx comes with a Connector Framework that allows for connections with common MarTech solutions like Sitecore, Bynder, Acquia, and Lytho.
