Chemosol were present at the recent Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, held from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre. A highlight at the stand was the company’s CMA 1814 FVT fabric cutter with camera technology, used to read images and cut. It can cut a range of materials including wool, leather and flexible materials. Examples include digital sport wear cutting, undergarment cutting, nylon lace cutting and swimwear cutting.
Also showcased was the company’s CMA 1309 and 0604 laser cutting machines, which can cut non-metallic material such as wood, paper, epoxy resin, acrylic, plastic, rubber and bamboo, to name but a few; as well as the MF20-P-C fibre laser marker, suitable for a number of applications, including metal accessories marking, metal name card marking, switch marking, metal handicraft and marking electronic components.
A large number of other solutions to the signage industry spanning pad printers (2-colour and 5-colour), mug presses, screen printers, bottle screen printer, UV flatbeds, foil machines, laminators and pneumatic heat presses (dual station) were on display.
