Caldera Supports Epson DTG Solution

Epson’s dedicated direct-to-garment (DTG) solution, the SureColor SC-F3000, is now compatible with CalderaRIP Version 15.

This new Epson driver expands Caldera’s award-winning software’s extensive list of supported peripherals for wide format production.

Designed for high productivity, this versatile solution allows print service providers to quickly respond to incoming orders by making T-shirt loading quick and easy. The embedded sensors detect the garment’s surface and adjust it accordingly, reducing both operator errors and waste.

Caldera has been designed to handle a wide range of print and cut applications, including textile and direct-to-garment printing. Compatible with more than 1600 printers from major manufacturers, Caldera is a multi-brand solution capable of driving an entire fleet of print and cut devices from a single, user-friendly user interface.

The RIP solution has been developed to optimise the white ink consumption when printing on coloured T-shirts, allowing users to deliver more vivid colours and contrasts while reducing white ink consumption. Moreover, the solution embeds premium components to ensure perfect results when producing complex designs on a variety of light and dark garments.

The latest version of the powerful Adobe PDF Print Engine improves the rendering of thin lines and ensures a reliable reproduction of a user’s designs on any surface. The X-Rite i1Prism Profiler embedded in the EasyMedia module makes ICC profiling and spot colour matching easier to help users deliver smooth gradients and coherent results across their fleet of printers.

The optional RGBWorkflow module allows users to carry out print profiles in RGB, since using the same RGB profile from creation to production allows them to achieve richer, deeper blacks and meet the designer’s expectations.
