Change One Woman (C1W) hosted a free networking event at the Sign Africa Expo in Durban on 5 March. The event aimed to empower women through connection, conversation and support. The event was sponsored by FP&M SETA and Printing SA.
Attendees shared their challenges, such as trying to forge their careers and make their mark in a very male-dominated industry. They also highlighted the need for more training opportunities and workshops where they can learn more about how to run successful businesses as well as industry trends. Suppliers at the event were also able to connect with women who needed guidance in their businesses and offer advice and services.
The next event will be held at the Sign Africa Cape Town Expo.
