TianYuan HuiBang Group (iDecor) is one of the largest interior decoration printing materials companies in China, exporting décor paper and PVC film worldwide. With several years of inkjet proofing experience, and after having surveyed and tested a number of inkjet production systems, they chose Agfa’s InterioJet 2500 printing system for short print runs and customisation of décor paper.
By doing so, they became the first company in China to invest in this décor paper inkjet system that enables them to run a non-stop printing production with consistent colour quality, and that is equipped with inks and primer that fit perfectly with the traditional impregnation and lamination post-processes.
Reset Zhang, CEO of TianYuan HuiBang Group (TYHB), who is also Vice Chairman of the China National Forest Products Industry Association’s (CNFPIA’s) Decorative Paper and Surface Wood-based Panel (CDSC), and one of the opinion leaders in the décor paper industry in China stated, ‘Choosing the Agfa system solution and service has been one of our best investment decisions. The printed paper fits perfectly with the traditional impregnation and lamination post-process, and helps us gain new business consisting of digital short run and customisation orders.’
This is one of two Chinese companies who recently invested in Agfa’s water-based inkjet printing system for interior decoration. The InterioJet brings them top print quality and advanced customisation for the digital printing of laminated surface designs.
The Dilon Group (Zhejiang Dilon New Material Co., Ltd.) is also one of the largest interior decoration printing materials companies in China, exporting décor paper and PVC film worldwide. They had been testing décor paper printing and post-processing for a while when they finally chose Agfa’s InterioJet 3300 system solution for décor paper printing to complement their existing traditional gravure printing press.
Thanks to Agfa’s inkjet system, they can also gain new business, e.g. from printing wide format images without repetitions, short run jobs, mass customisation and thanks to the fact that they can now take on jobs that they couldn’t print with traditional gravure, including flooring, furniture and wall panel decoration.
