Cape Town based Bridge Promotions recently purchased both the new JV150-160 and JV33-160 Mimaki machines as well as a Klieverik machine from Graphix Supply World.
Bridge Promotions specialises in both hard and soft signage, promotional items and printing. Since they opened their doors five years ago, they have grown exponentially and now provide print work for many major corporations across the country, including Sanlam, Build It, GL Events and Parliament.
The JV150-160 printer series from Mimaki provides high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink types, including new Orange and Light Black, in a cost effective package for sign-makers, display graphics professionals and print shops. The JV33-160 series is just as impressive, offering users wide format inkjet printers (1.3m and 1.6m) that deliver on a superb mix of high quality output, high speed printing, and user-friendly operation at an affordable price.
The Klieverik was also an excellent investment for Bridge Promotions with its GTC belt calenders able to be used for dye-sublimation transfer printing (paper to textile) as well as for dye fixation of direct printed dispersed dyes or pigments.
The precision guiding of the long belt and the lack of lateral movement of the paper and fabric make it possible to print with the highest degree of edge sharpness with this machine. The stable temperature of the thermal oil and the electrically heated drum are designed to give users ideal colour brilliance. In addition, the Klieverik can be used to print on all kinds of materials, including woven-stretch-knits and non-woven.
