The major upgrade at the Avery Dennison plant in Schwelm, Germany, includes a new coater, and is giving graphics customers across Europe access to more than 7600 product variations in total. The new coater offers large production flexibility with two coating methods and 10 different solvent-based adhesives.
The new coater was launched at a customer event that showcased the Schwelm plant’s comprehensive production and customer service operation, which includes additional coaters, slitters, cross-sheeters and a packaging line, as well as an automated and semi-automated warehouse.
