Allrich highlighted a range of signage materials at the recently held Sign Africa Cape Town Expo, at the CTICC, which ran from 3-4 May.
Included were the following materials: ABS sheets: 0.6mm – 3mm, white and black; Chromadek: 0.5mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm; Coruplas/Correx: straight flute; paper foam sheets: 5mm and 10mm, white; PETG sheets: clear, 0.5mm – 3mm; PLEXIGLAS XT Acrylic sheets: 1mm – 25mm, available in several colours and thicknesses; Polystyrene sheets (HIPS) – 0.9mm – 2mm; PVC foam sheets: 1mm – 30mm; and plastic wood (architectural PVC foam sheets): 15mm and 16mm white.
Also highlighted was Brett Martin’s Marcryl FS flat extruded acrylic sheet. It is an ideal alternative to glass. The clear option has a high gloss finish, good optical clarity, very high light transmission and excellent weatherability, at only half the weight of glass. The gloss and shiny finish give the material a bright feel, achieving visually stunning effects. When the edges are polished, their perfect transparency makes Marcryl FS the ideal choice for use in interior design, POS and display applications. Marcryl FS product options: sheet size: 2050 x 3050mm, clear; thickness: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10mm. 2mm clear PETG is available in 2050 x 3050mm.
Allrich also exhibited its ORAJET digital printing films, ORAGUARD laminating films, ORAJET vehicle wrapping solutions, ORALITE reflective films, and ORALITE sign and display tapes. Products that will soon be added include: ORACAL plotter films and ORABOND tapes.
Visitors could also get information about Neschen’s coated self-adhesive digital print media which includes: easy dot® matt, glossy, transparent; easy dot® whiteout (high opacity); UV dot print ‘n’ walk floor vinyl (R10 rating); performance wall-grip high-tack wall vinyl; and filmolux® easy protection film (lamination – gloss and matt).
