The latest member of the Jeti Tauro family – called Jeti Tauro H3300 LED S (S for ‘standard’) – is an entry model that will enable an even wider range of printing companies to benefit from one of Agfa’s flagship large-format printers.
This new hybrid six-colour printer, with optional white and primer, boasts award-winning quality at a top speed of 302sqm per hour, which can be upgraded to the even higher speed of its bigger brother. It also shares the latter’s short start-up times and quick and easy maintenance, while also featuring the same automation options. That means it will be available in six possible configurations.
Four of these are dedicated to board printing, ranging from manual to fully automatic. The 3/4 automated version makes use of an automatic board feeder, which is particularly convenient for shorter runs and a fast, efficient changeover between various media sizes or types. The two remaining configurations focus on roll printing, with a master roll-to-roll and a light roll-to-roll model.
As is the case with all Jeti Tauro models, the Jeti Tauro H3300 S LED is powered by Agfa’s Asanti workflow software, which controls and automates the entire printing process from prepress to finishing, while guaranteeing colour consistency and optimising ink consumption. The smart Asanti Production Dashboard displays ink and media consumption and printing time for each job and printer.

Agfa introduced the Jeti Tauro H3300 in 2018. This heavy-duty hybrid printer combines award-wining image quality, extreme productivity and low ink consumption and delivers rigid and flexible prints up to 3.3m wide at speeds up to 453sqm/h. The original version is available in a four-colour and a six-colour version; the latest S version in six colours only. White ink and primer are optional. Both versions are available in six configurations.
Awards
Agfa was also the recipient of two awards for its other solutions. The Printing United Alliance hands out the Product of the Year awards to solutions from its member suppliers that are available for sale in 2020. Over 200 entries were submitted across 85 categories.
Agfa is taking home two Product of the Year awards from PRINTING United Alliance, a testament to its long track record of innovative technology. The Oberon RTR3300 won in the RTR UV category (over 80 in.) and the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED won top honors in the UV Hybrid/Flatbed High Volume Production Class category.

Both the Oberon RTR3300 and the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED feature state-of-the-art technologies:
The Oberon is a dedicated 3.3m roll-to-roll printer featuring speeds up to 150sqm/h that comes in a four colour plus white and a six-colour version. The dual-roll option is capable of handling two rolls up to 1.6m wide each, doubling the total output.
The Oberon’s UV LED inks are optimised for flexible media and obtained Greenguard Gold certification, designating they meet rigorous chemical emissions standards and can be used in sensitive indoor environments like schools or healthcare facilities.
The Jeti Tauro H3300 LED printers are heavy-duty, ruggedly built workhorses that easily handle extreme workloads, multiple-shift operation and 24/7 printing. Suited for a variety of rigid and flexible substrates (e.g. paper, styrene, corrugated cardboard and corrugated polypropylene), the Jeti Tauro H3300 LEDs produce prints up to 3.3m wide at speeds up to 453sqm/h at resolutions up to 1,200 dpi. Featuring a four and a six-colour version (plus white or primer), the Jeti Tauro LED line offers six configurations ranging from manual to fully automatic and roll printing. Like the Oberon, the Jeti Tauro UV inks obtained Greenguard Gold certification.
Product of the Year judging was conducted for both output devices and non-output devices. For output devices, a printed target produced a scorecard that determined winners.
Agfa Corporation has won a total of 14 Product of the Year awards since its first submission in 2014. The Agfa Product of the Year award-winning Oberon and Jeti systems are now available for worldwide delivery, along with matching workflow software and inks.
