Signs Express (Swansea) recently completed a stand-out vehicle livery for its client, Lots of Tots. Lots of Tots Childcare delivers a range of childcare services from its premises in South Wales and part of its offering involves transport for its little customers. Having acquired a new vehicle, the company contacted Signs Express, logo in hand, and seeking a transformation that would make the vehicle better suited to the needs of its business.
The Signs Express Swansea team got some ideas in front of its client and then quickly set about reducing them to practice. The supplied logo needed a detail rework before production and the remaining elements are works of vivid imagination and colour.
It’s said that six thousand pairs of eyes an hour see vehicle graphics when they’re out and about. Livery work of this calibre perhaps suggests a need for a new performance metric concerned with how well things are remembered. Once seen, the Lots of Tots vehicle isn’t easily forgotten.
Riots of colours place a few demands on technical print skills, something not lacking at Signs Express Swansea. The team used MetaWrap MD-X for its daring design’s production and then toned it down just a touch with a matching matt laminate (Metaguard MG-X Cylinder Cast Digital Wrapping Overlaminate). The result really raises a smile with all who see it and particularly so when it was collected by its delighted owners.
