XpertJet solvent and dye-sublimation printers
The XpertJet 1641SR is a single head 4 colour model, one of two new 162cm (64 inch) models released by Mutoh. It is ideal for start-ups or established print shops needing extra versatility and flexibility as well as for businesses focusing on the combination of speed production and top quality print work. The XpertJet 1682SR is a dual staggered head model for 2 x 4 colour set-up or 7 colour set-up. XpertJet printers have been developed for high quality cost-effective volume production of sign and display graphics, for long term outdoor applications as well as durable prints for indoor use.
The XpertJet 1682WR water-based inkjet printer provides improved usability and reduces opera onal workload, which will ensure high-quality prints, high productivity outputs and user-friendly operation. A newly developed multi-stage pressurising system enhances media feed stability for a wide range of media. Mutoh original dye-sublimation transfer ink (DH21) provides optimum print quality and a wide colour gamut.
The XpertJet 1642WR 1625mm (64”) water-based inkjet printer features two new extra wide print heads that achieve high productivity with incredible print speed and the highest print quality thanks to best in class dot placement accuracy. Expand your business beyond vinyl and banner printing by adding soft signage to your product portfolio. Images bond permanently into the fabric, colours are bright and vibrant, and outputs are durable and washable.

Intelligent Interweaving i2 technology
This is a revolutionary new way of laying down ink onto a substrate. Whereas wide format printers commonly lay down ink onto a substrate in a ‘straight line’, the i2 technology will enable the printer to lay down the ink in a totally different way, e.g. in a ‘wave form pattern’. This results in a vast reduction or neutralising of typical shortcomings inherently linked to inkjet printing, such as horizontal or vertical banding, missing or misfiring nozzles, step mismatch, mottle, etc.
DropMaster advanced print automation technology
The revolutionary print automation technique eliminates the need for cumbersome and time consuming media dependent printer adjustments. It automatically recalculates and adjusts the uni/bidirectional fire timings and does this regardless of resolution and print speed.
