Trotec’s new Q400 laser cutter sets new standards by combining all the Trotec virtues users need for efficient laser cutting. With a working area of 1030 x 630mm and laser power of up to 100 watts, the Q400 cuts and engraves a wide variety of materials, such as: acrylic and wood (cut up to 15mm), textiles, paper or cardboard for signs, handicraft items, models or decorative items.
The Q Series is a reliable laser for production. Trotec core technology such as the InPack Technology, JobControl® laser software, the CeramiCore® laser source and the innovative motion planning OptiMotion enable fast, efficient and intuitive work with the laser.
Maximum cutting speed with the highest cutting quality – that is what OptiMotion motion control stands for – the innovative Trotec motion planning. Cutting speed and acceleration are automatically calculated and optimised in real time based on the geometry. The result is that time is saved when creating laser files and determining parameters, high curve quality and maximum throughput. With the Q Series, users are cutting up to eight times faster than with comparable laser machines on the market.
The Q Series is equipped with Trotec core technology that has been tried and tested for decades. These trademarks set standards for the productivity of every laser user. The Q Series delivers the finest engravings up to a font size of 4 point with sharp shoulders and defined details at up to 2m/s. Thanks to the Trotec drive concept, speed is more than a data sheet value. The red Trotec laser head enables fast yet precise laser processing. The ultra-compact, lightweight design integrates the most important functions in the smallest of spaces. The robust mechanical and reliable electronic design has already been tried and tested in thousands of laser machines.
Revolutionary Dual-Source technology
The Q Series is equipped with a powerful DC CO2 laser for fast cutting or a CeramiCore® RF CO2 laser for high quality engraving. The innovative and patented CeramiCore® laser source concept stands for reliability, durability and the highest engraving quality. The resonator of the laser source, where the laser beam is generated, is 100% ceramic – something unprecedented for laser cutters and laser engraving machines. One investment – two tools.
