Exion’s non-stripping wire connectors eliminate the time and effort required to connect electrical wires.

‘We have often received requests from our customers asking for a connector that can connect both LEDs and transformers safely and without requiring too much time to do so,’ said Jay Kim, managing director, Exion. ‘Up until now, we have introduced various products each with their own advantages and disadvantages. However, we have been using this connector for several months now on our own and have yet to find any shortcomings, so we have decided to launch it to the Southern African market.’
When asked about using this new connector compared to the old way, Exion’s LED technician Willy Mashiane said, ‘This connector was easy to use, strong and solid to hold wires, and when installing 330 LED modules into 13 letters – with a letter height of 900mm – it took less than one hour, instead of five hours to finish using the old way, which involves wire stripping, soldering and heating a shrink tube.’
