Trotec is launching a brand new laser marker, the U300, with a marking area of up to 190 x 190mm at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, taking place from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.
It has been developed to produce small markings on plastics and metals in the shortest times. With the U series laser markers, individual single pieces as well as small and medium batches can be marked quickly and easily.
Thanks to the maintenance-free fibre laser source, plastic can be recoloured and metal permanently marked directly. The new series has been developed especially for job shoppers, engravers and machine builders.
The UMark software enables you to mark your information on the object in no time at all. This allows you to generate codes, import data files or graphics, and create texts. The software also has a material database so that you can mark with the correct parameters as quickly as possible. You can also add your own parameters to this database.
The special highlight of the U Series is the Bordermarking function – this allows you to project the surface to be marked or even the contour onto the component at any time, position it in real time and, if necessary, correct it with a mouse click.

Speedy 400
The Speedy 400 features: optimised performance in terms of quality and speed, easy handling, best comfort and the highest efficiency. It has a maximum engraving speed of 4.2m/sec, an acceleration of 5g, the revolutionary motion system OptiMotion and a working area with 1016 x 610mm optimised to most material plate formats such as acrylic or wood. With up to 250 Watt laser power, engraving and cutting gets even faster. Thanks to the patented Flexx Technology, users get a CO2 and a fibre laser source in one machine.
R500
The R500 complies to stringent production procedures and European manufacturing standards. The laser cutter is equipped with high quality components: a Trotec laser system controller, CeramiCore laser sources, industrial grade power supplies and linear guides.
Speedy 100
The Speedy 100 is a compact laser engraver that ensures maximum flexibility in the user’s applications. Users can mark and engrave virtually anything, from plastics or wood to glass or metal. The machine generated a lot of visitor interest.
