The Ricoh Company’s recent acquisition of ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions GmbH, which is a partner of Durst Phototechnik AG for colour management solutions for the ceramic market, will not change the business relationship with Durst.
Thomas Kirschner, co-founder and CEO of ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions GmbH confirmed that the strong cooperation and exclusive distribution agreement with Durst Phototechnik AG for the ceramic market remains in force: ‘We will continue our successful technical discussions and further joint developments of this complete solution together with Durst Phototechnik AG, a pioneer and technology leader in ceramics and other market segments.’
As a result of the cooperation with Durst Phototechnik AG, which has already lasted for two years, numerous functions and work processes have been optimised and developed for the needs and conditions in ceramic tile production, to meet the specific requirements in tile decoration even better and allow easy and efficient use of the professional colour management tools.
Durst recently presented the ColorGATE CMS Durst Edition, demonstrating results of satisfied customers at its booth at the Tecnargilla 2018 exhibition.
