Trotec Laser South Africa recently hosted the grand opening of its new demo centre in Kramerville, Sandton on April 17.
While a number of machines and consumables were on display in the showroom for customers to view, the main attraction of the day was the launch of the new SP2000 large format laser cutter, used for a number of applications such as signage, display and retail, and which can cut materials such as wood and textiles.
Another highlight was the revised edition of the GS1000 fibre machine, with added versatility, which includes the ability to engrave metal and plastics.
The day was well received with a number of interested customers in attendance, and with many of the company’s representatives present to provide technical consultation.
