Falcon Hosts Successful ORAFOL Training Days

Falcon recently held training days where ORAFOL Europe representatives Dr. Jonas Kolsch and Evelyn Zocher discussed the wide variety of ORAFOL films available and their applications. These included plotter materials, digital printing and overlaminate films and vehicle wrapping films.

Dr. Kolsch and Zocher gave the following tips on getting the most out of ORAFOL products:
– Always use the material for its intended application.
– Always check the permanence of a product so you know how long it can be applied for. Don’t use permanent materials for short-term applications, as these can leave residues and are much more difficult to remove.
– Solvent based inkjet prints should dry for at least 2-3 days before lamination and application.
– Wrapped vehicles should be cleaned regularly with specialised surface cleaners. Only use ORAFOL cleaning products for ORAFOL films. Mixing brands can affect adhesion of the vinyl.
