Gandy Digital announced a new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) facility to support international business growth and boost EMEA customer service and production capability.
Gandy Digital moved its European headquarters from Antwerp to a larger, more central facility in Zaventem, Belgium. The new state-of-the-art facility is 2000 square metres and houses new offices, a large demonstration room, assembly line and storage space, a powerful operation hub for the company’s expanding international business network.
The new facility provides customers with a market leading product demonstration area for enhanced customer testing and training capabilities. It has also allowed Gandy Digital to boost its EMEA based R&D and production capabilities, for the development of printers and configurations that better meet the needs of EMEA print houses.
Now based in Zaventem, the heart of Belgium’s inkjet ‘Silicon Valley’, the new Gandy Digital office is located close to Brussels airport, a very central location for operations throughout Europe. Just 20 minutes outside the city centre and with great road and flight connections into all parts of the world, the new Gandy Digital offices are ideally located to increase speed of delivery and customer service to its rapidly expanding customer portfolio.
Shmulik Lazgiel, Gandy Digital EMEA Managing Director, commented, ‘With the success of recent product introductions including Gladi8tor and Termin8tor, we have been fortunate to enjoy significant EMEA growth. But to ensure that we continue to manage this growth while maintaining high customer service, we knew that we needed a larger and better equipped facility.
‘The new Zaventem office offers exactly that. Working closely with the other Gandy Digital offices throughout Europe, our new modern and much larger European facility has already created a strong core base for our European operations, while dramatically improving our ability to host customers looking to test and evaluate our products.’
Housing all Gandy Digital printers at the new Zaventem facility, guests will now be able to see first-hand, the company’s comprehensive portfolio of flatbed and roll-to-roll printers – including the newly launched Gandy Digital Gladi8tor UV Flatbed inkjet.
Driven by an inline ‘8 Blade’ printhead configuration, the new Gandy Digital Gladi8tor printer enables a double CMYK set-up to deliver twice the speed (up to 240sqm) of its own Domin8tor and Pred8tor models. This makes the printer the most productive solution in its class, and allows customers to increase production and better meet tight deadlines.
