Graphix Supply World Makes Numerous Sales At FESPA Africa

Graphix Supply World (GSW) exhibited at the inaugural FESPA Africa 2014 which took place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, from 2-4 July. The exhibition was a success and enjoyed by visitors and exhibitors alike.

GSW were overwhelmed by the interest in their products and on the first day sold the following machines:

• One Mimaki SWJ 320: a high speed, grand format solvent printer with super wide format printing (up to 3.2m), high speed printing up to 83sqm/h (S4 model) and 51.9sqm/h (S2 model). It comprises of high quality printing with a max. resolution of 1080 x 1200 dpi and new solvent inks for applications such as: indoor and outdoor signage, exhibition and display graphics, floor and window graphics, retail POS and more.

• Two Mimaki CJV30’s: this printer is an integrated inkjet printer with automatic switching capability, has four different print widths (60/100/130/160 cm) and high quality printing up to 1440 dpi. The maximum printing speed is 17.5sqm/h and continuous crop mark detection for accurate contour cutting.

• Three Mimaki UJF30 42 HG’s: this is a compact desktop size UV LED flatbed printer ideal for short runs and on-demand printing, it has outstanding print quality and reliability and allows direct printing on substrates up to 150mm thick. It can print from gifts and novelties to wooden and glass materials.

• One Fujifilm Uvistar: This is a grand format UV inkjet printer ideal for the production of a variety of poster displays, point-of-purchase materials, billboards, vehicle graphics and backlit signage. It has throughput speeds of over 350sqm/hr (5m model) with rigid media handling options and multi-roll capability.

One Mimaki JV33: this is a high speed, wide format inkjet printer (1.3m and 1.6m) with speed of up to 17.5sqm/h comes with user-friendly operation and exclusive mild solvent and eco solvent inks available, including white ink.

• One TMT 1700: TheMagicTouch Digital Paper and Heat Press Solution comes with a toner-based image transfer process and allows you to decorate and personalise a vast range of printable items including garments, textiles, ceramics, leather, wood, metal, board, acrylic.

• Polyprint Texjet: this is a direct-to-garment printer, that can print up to A2 size, prints 30-40 white and 12-15 dark t-shirts per hour in high quality mode and has textile pigment inks for all fabrics.

During the course of the show GSW also sold several Mimaki JV300 high speed printers and six JFX200 flatbed UV printers. GSW believes that the well positioned Mimaki stand succeeded in drawing many new customers into the Mimaki family and that FESPA Africa provided a brilliant platform from which to launch new technology.
               
Mimaki was awarded the ‘Best Mega Stand’ at the show. The mega stand category encompasses stands larger than 100sqm and stands are assessed by independent judges on a number of criteria including design, construction, special effects, traffic flow, presentation, message and housekeeping. GSW is set to bring a bigger and better stand to next year’s FESPA Africa (22-24 July).
