Hansen Neon GMBH showcased its SUNLUXX solar powered package, which allows you to illuminate your advertising sign using solar technology, at viscom Frankfurt 2012 (25-27 October). The system can be operated fully independently. With a single SUNLUXX, up to 30 series-connected Power LEDs (with a total rating of 9W) can be operated.
A 55W solar module generates approximately 220Wh (watt hours) per day during summer and approximately 55Wh during winter. The battery should provide enough reserve capacity to bridge days with a very low amount of sunshine. The battery contained in the set has a capacity of 720Wh, of which 50% (360 Wh) can be used.
SUNLUXX is supplied completely assembled, is simple to install and consists of the following
components:
· 55W solar module, dimensions: 980 x 445mm
· 12 V/55 Ah lead-gel solar battery
· Charge regulator
· Specially developed converter
