The Riso Kagaku Corporation has launched the GOCCOPRO GP100, a digital screen maker which uses thermal technology to expose a specialised heat-sensitive screen mesh for screen-printing.
The machine does not have or use any chemicals, emulsions or wash-out in the screen making process. Disposable screens eliminate the need for additional equipment.
It works with PC or Mac (optional network card and driver required for Mac).
Features include:
-Screen making time: Approximately 105 seconds (when screen making length is 420mm (16.5”) and Frame 1 (590mm/23.2”) are selected.)
-Image area: minimum: 10mm x 10mm (0.39” x 0.39”), maximum: 800mm x 297mm(31.5” x 11.69”).
-Resolution: 600dpi x 600dpi (perforation density: 1200dpi).
-Power consumption: Approximately 200W.
